Gofer - Brand Identity

GOFER
Brand Identity
Brand identity concept for an errand service company. The project explored the fascinating realm of branding, identity, and logo design and the various roles, that together, form a perceived image for a business or product. I decided that my particular company would be an errand service, one that would be focused on the community and help to connect people as well as save time for those who need to get their extra jobs done. While this concept is nothing new in this day and age, I wanted to explore ways in which my company could rival the competition and do something that had not been done before.

After a great deal of research and brainstorming, creating mind maps in order to search for creative names, I decided on Gofer, as it seemed to be self-explanatory, fun, and memorable. I developed a brand brief in order to help shape and indicate my company's mission, brand attributes, key services, and who my target audience would be. Soon afterward, I began the challenge of designing a logo, a way to identify my business in its simplest form.

Multiple iterations were created in the pursuit of “the one”, in hopes of establishing my brand and giving my company a mark to help identify it in a memorable and recognizable way. After much consideration, reflection, and multiple roughs, I finally came to a solution.
The Result

The final logo design utilizes a combination of a wordmark/pictorial style that features the name of the company, which helps to aid in brand awareness and couples that with an identifying symbol, a figure in motion, in order to reinforce the recognition of the logo. The clean font helps give the logo a sense of professionalism, while also reads as fun and energetic.
